The Acceptance Intention of Shared Autonomous Vehicle Considering the Technical Cognition
摘要
The shared autonomous vehicle (SAV) has great advantages in safety, economy and convenience compared with the human-driving vehicle. However, whether SAV can be used to improve the existing traffic problems depends on the public’s acceptance intention. In this paper, the concept of technical cognition is introduced for the first time to study travelers’ acceptance of SAV. In order to obtain empirical data, the 5-point Likert scale was used to design a questionnaire on the acceptance intention of SAV. Among them, a graded question and answer method was used to measure the technical cognition level. The structural equation model and hypothesis test were used to verify the relationship between each variable, and explore the relationship between the technical cognitive and other latent variables on the acceptance intention of SAV. The results show that the model has strong explanatory power and applicability, and the technical cognition has a positive and significant impact on the acceptance intention of SAV.
