Multi-route Operation Scheduling Model for Urban Traffic Trunk Roads Based on Independent Time Window

In this study, in order to solve the bus overflow problem at multi-line bus stops during peak hours on urban trunk roads and improve the efficiency of bus stop traffic, a multi-route operation scheduling model for urban traffic trunk roads based on independent time window is proposed. This study clarifies the main object of the model by defining the concept of independent time window, combines the bus speed guidance scheme, and establishes a bus scheduling optimization model based on independent time window for multi-route bus stops with the objective of minimizing the difference between the independent time window node interval and the optimal departure interval. At the same time, this study proposes a real-time correction method for operation speed in order to improve the robustness of the model. This study proposes a method to solve the bus overflow problem of multi-route bus stops on urban trunk roads, which can provide theoretical basis and technical support for the development of urban vehicle–road cooperation and the construction of intelligent bus system.
