Engineered Cementitious Composites
摘要
Engineered cementitious composites (ECC), also known as bendable concrete, are a class of fiber-reinforced cementitious materials that exhibit unique properties of high flexibility and strength, compared to traditional concrete. These composites are designed to overcome the intrinsic brittleness of conventional concrete by incorporating short, discrete fibers into the cement matrix. The unique ductility and strain-hardening characteristics of ECC make it particularly suitable for structures that require high resistance to cracking and damage under mechanical and environmental stresses.
