Electrical Properties
摘要
The electrical properties of cement and concrete, such as electrical conductivity and resistivity, are significant indicators of the material’s structure, moisture content, and ion concentration. These properties depend largely on the porosity and the connectivity of the pore network within the concrete, as well as the presence of conductive components like water and salts. In cement-based materials, electrical conductivity increases with the presence of water and ions, making it a useful parameter for assessing curing status, moisture distribution, and the potential for corrosion in reinforced concrete.
