Calcium Orthophosphate
摘要
Calcium orthophosphate, commonly referred to as tricalcium phosphate (Ca 3(PO 4) 2), is a key material used predominantly in biomedical applications, such as bone graft substitutes, due to its excellent biocompatibility and bioactivity. In the context of cement and concrete, its use is relatively novel and primarily experimental, focusing on specialized applications where biological properties can be beneficial, such as in bioactive concretes for artificial reef constructions or in environments requiring biological remediation. In severe environmental conditions, calcium orthophosphate can contribute to the development of concrete with enhanced bioactivity, potentially supporting the growth of microorganisms or plants that could contribute to the ecological restoration of the area.
