Emergency Medical Supplies Stockpile Policy and Rotation Strategy Study
摘要
When a major public health crisis occurs, the unpredictability, urgency, material consumption, persistence, and scope of the disaster can have a very negative impact on society and the economy. Conventional supply chain management of medical reserves and emergency material will face very serious challenges. Consumers will tend to buy and store medical materials that are easy to obtain in large quantities. The production capacity of some medical materials will likely be insufficient to keep up with the explosive growth in demand. Even with sufficient production capabilities, there may be a shortage of materials at the grassroots level due to delays in the supply chain.
