Liver Lymphangioma
摘要
Lymphangioma of the liver is a rare benign tumor of the lymphatic system, mostly due to congenital lymphatic malformations or proliferation of lymphoid tissue cells. The lesions are mostly solitary, often located in the right lobe of the liver, and pathologically show single or multiple cystic solid lesions in the liver parenchyma containing lymphatic fluid. Clinical manifestations are mostly epigastric discomfort, and acute abdominal pain may occur in combination with infection or bleeding. Imaging examination shows that hepatic lymphangiomas are mostly cystic solid, with clear borders and internal septations of uneven thickness, and CT can show septations and small calcification of the cystic wall. MRI shows low signal in T1WI and high signal in T2WI, and enhancement scans of the cystic wall and the solid portion of the cystic wall can have mild to moderate enhancement. The diagnosis should be differentiated from hepatic hemangioma, angiolymphangioma, mesenchymal malformation, cystic adenoma, and hepatic cyst, and pathologic examination is the “gold standard” to confirm the diagnosis.
