Hot Corrosion Study of Novel Glass–Ceramic-Based Thermal Barrier Coating System
摘要
Hot corrosion occurs in aggressive environments such as high temperatures associated with corrosive molten salts, salt vapor, or hot gases. The article describes the effects of a corrosive high-temperature environment on coated gas turbine engine components. In particular, the hot corrosion behavior of novel glass–ceramic YSZ-based triple-layered functionally graded coating on nimonic superalloy has been described here.
