Jāmī’s Treatise on Rhyme: An Annotated Translation

Treatise on Rhyme (Risāla-i Qāfiya) is a primer in the technical vocabulary, methods, and aesthetics of rhyme in Persian poetry written circa 1465 CE. The author, ʿAbd al-Raḥmān Jāmī (1414–1492), was a Sufi, courtier in Timurid Herat, Arabic philologist, and celebrated writer of Persian poetry and prose.
