The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Biofertilizer Development

In the field of developing biofertilizers, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and data analytics has become a shifting approach that presents previously unheard chances to improve sustainable agriculture practices. The contribution of AI, ML, and data analytics to the advancement of biofertilizer research and application is thoroughly examined in this chapter. This chapter examines the most current developments, approaches, difficulties, and prospects for using these technologies to improve agricultural yield, soil fertility, and environmental sustainability. The complementary relationship between technology and biology in opening up new vistas in microbial ecology, soil science, and precision agriculture through an investigation of AI-driven decision support systems, ML algorithms for predictive modeling, and data analytics for data-driven insights. This study highlights the need for ongoing research, cooperation, and the use of new technologies to solve global concerns in food security, environmental degradation, and agricultural sustainability. It does this by illuminating the revolutionary potential of AI, ML, and data analytics.
