U-type Tube Vibration Based Fuel Density Portable Testing Instrument Research

To overcome the shortcomings of traditional engine fuel testing equipment such as poor portability, poor stability, and expensive, a portable fuel density testing instrument was designed and developed. The physical anti-Jamming technology and temperature compensation technology are used to simplify the tedious experimental process used in the traditional method, and the impact of temperature changes on the measurement accuracy of the testing instrument is analyzed and explained, and the U-type tube vibration technology is used to address the problem of low measurement accuracy of the current fuel density measurement method, and the final real-time density measurement accuracy reaches 0.0001g/cm3 and the measurement range is (0.6000–2.000) g/cm3. The results show that the instrument can meet the demand of fuel density measurement with high accuracy, strong stability, and portability through the core components of double U-type tube and temperature compensation technology.
