Solitary Bone Cyst

The simple bone cyst was first described by Lucas in 1929. Since then, it has been reported in various articles under a variety of names, i.e., solitary bone cyst, hemorrhagic bone cyst, traumatic bone cyst, extravasation bone cyst, idiopathic bone cavity, and progressive bone cavity, as there was no unanimous agreement on the exact nature and the probable cause of the cyst.
