Sarcoidosis
摘要
Sarcoidosis is a multisystemic disorder of unknown cause that is characterized by the formation of immune granulomas in involved organs. Jonathan Hutchinson, an English surgeon-dermatologist, reported the first case of sarcoidosis in 1875. The term sarcoidosis was introduced later by Boeck in 1899, which in Greek means “flesh-like condition.” Sarcoidosis affects all individuals regardless of race, sex, or age.
