摘要

Peripheral giant cell granuloma (PGCG) is a relatively common tumorlike growth of the oral cavity. It probably does not represent a true neoplasm but is a reactive lesion caused by irritation or trauma. Jaffe [1] first suggested the term “giant cell reparative granuloma” for a similar central lesion of the jawbones.
