摘要

The Covid-19 pandemic has adversely impacted healthcare workers’ physical, psychological, and social well-being and exposed them to a diverse set of psychosocial problems (PSPs)—depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), burnout, work-life conflict (WLC), social isolation, stigma, and poor quality of life (QoL). This review aims to overview the post-Covid PSPs of healthcare workers (HCWs), mind-body practices—poses, conscious breath regulations, seals, locks, mindfulness, and meditations and the scientific rationale behind their effectiveness for prevention and moderation of PSPs. Finally, an integral Yoga protocol (IYP) for prevention/moderation of PSPs of HCWs is derived as a clinical implication of the study. However, the proposed IYP for managing PSPs needs validation via further experimental studies.
