Biomolecules-organized NMs play a significant role in the medical field due to their ability to allow for the control and slow release of various drugs, indicating effective utilization and sustainability. Hence, in biomedical applications, the ability of nanostructures to perform multiple functions is a significant advantage. As a result, self-assembled peptides, DNA, and polysaccharides nanostructures are undeniably fascinating as drug nanocarriers or therapeutics. This chapter summarizes different topics such as biomolecules-organized nanomaterials, biomolecules-organized nanomaterials for medical applications, biosensors, bioimaging, antibacterial agents, tumor accumulation, tissue engineering, diagnosis, drug delivery, and targeting specific cells.
