Cell culture is a term that describes research methods which enable both cells prokaryotic or eukaryotic to grow in physiological environments. In the early twentieth century, it was originally utilized to study tissue growth, virus biology, usage of hybrid cellular lines on large-scale to make biopharmaceutical products, vaccine development, and genes significance in both healthy as well as disease state.
