Development of Arduino-Based Surveillance Drone for Enhanced Campus Security

A low budget and versatile drone has been developed for enhanced campus surveillance. The drone is completely based on Arduino and its stabilization and gyro acceleration are settled out by MPU-6050. The drone consists of a camera which provides real-time video streaming and siren which plays an immediate response for any security breach. The project leads to the enhancement of campus security. The drone can be remotely controlled to investigate and respond to any suspicious activities across the campus, thus providing a safer environment. This paper outlines the design, constructional features, potential applications, and future proposals of the surveillance drone.
