Performance Analysis of a Li-Ion Battery Using Generic Electro-thermal Model Under Different Temperature and Charging/Discharging Environment
摘要
Globally, in the automotive industry, internal combustion engines (ICE) based driven vehicles are the major source of environmental degradation because of their poisonous emissions in the atmosphere. Electric vehicles are the most appropriate alternative for this change. The rapid growth of electric vehicles is the need of today’s census. The growth of this lithium-ion battery provides an influential factor in powering the rise of electric vehicles. The effective operation of the battery is supreme, so to achieve it the critical factors that affect its performance are needed to be analyzed for effective management. The battery performance is greatly varied with the rise in temperature. This paper presents an electro-thermal model of the generic lithium-ion cells to investigate the electrical and thermal behavior under different driving cycles at different ambient temperatures.
