Sustainable Synthesis of Carbon-Based Nanocomposite for Dye Degradation

摘要

The study attempts to provide a thorough understanding of the application of diverse biological methodologies in the sustainable production of nanoparticles and nanocomposites composed of metals, metal sulfides, and metal oxides. The distinctive characteristics and prospective applications of nanoparticles made from carbon have attracted significant interest in the realm of environmental remediation, attempting to reduce the negative impacts of hazardous substances on the environment. Carbon composites are typically fabricated using nanotubes of carbon, graphite, graphene, and carbon dot particles, and these possess unique characteristics that render them suitable for various industrial applications. The effective use of carbon nanocomposites has been observed in the process of wastewater remediation and the degradation of dye. The present chapter provides a concise overview of a sustainable methodology for the utilization of carbon-derived nanocomposites in the process of degrading organic pollutants and treating wastewater. Additionally, the economic landscape and prospective developments have been analyzed.
