Facile Synthesis of Carbon Nanotubes and Its Application in Food Science and Wastewater Treatment
摘要
Discovery of carbon nanotubes and the enticement of generating innovative carbon-based nanomaterials have captured the interest of researchers across the world. Carbon nanotubes have garnered this kind of attention because of the profound science that underpins their uses and a special mix of attributes including high surface areas, huge aspect ratios, and better thermal and electrical conductivity. Controlling factors including the chemistry of the surface, the size distribution, the surface area, the aggregation, and the structure has been made feasible through chemical modification, re-engineering, and functionalization, resulting in increased usefulness. In addition to its potential for use in a variety of fields, including pharmaceutical, nanoelectronics, microelectronics, and environment remediation, more specifically, the sequestering of toxic metal ions from real samples is made possible by the outstanding adsorption properties of CNTs.
