Closing Remarks

This chapter delineates the Nordic Peace as a dynamic, ongoing endeavor grounded in deep-seated principles that enable the region to confront and adapt to challenges. Highlighting the resilience of the Nordic countries, it contrasts their cooperative, principle-based approach to peace with Northeast Asia’s reconciliation process. Despite geopolitical shifts, such as increased NATO integration following the Ukraine conflict, the Nordic region exemplifies a comprehensive security community, underpinned by cooperation, acceptance, and addressing historical injustices.
