Children Affected by Armed Conflict on the Myanmar-China Border

The date of 12 January 2024 would be a watershed of the security situation in Shan State, when a temporary ceasefire agreement was signed by the military government and the Three Brotherhood Alliance. Following the temporary ceasefire agreement signed on 12 January 2024, the security situation in Shan State was relatively stable. However, children are still vulnerable to landmines and explosive remnants of war in this state.
