Children Affected by Armed Conflict in the Western Borderlands of Myanmar

As the main battlegrounds of the conflicting parties, Rakhine State, Chin State and Sagaing Region have witnessed a massive number of child casualties. After “Operation 1027” in 2023, both Myanmar’s military and the anti-government armed organizations have been stuck on a seesaw, while child casualties are increasing.
