How to Take High-Quality Images (UGI)

Why is it important to record high-quality endoscopic images? Compared to text description, a good endoscopic image contains more objective and precise information on mucosal/lesion characteristics. If such valuable medical information on mucosal/lesion characteristics is properly recorded, it can be effectively shared (1) with medical colleagues inside/outside the hospital to provide learning opportunities, (2) with your own future to review and analyze the information for research, and (3) with readers worldwide if published in a medical journal. High-quality endoscopic images are better beautiful, but they must be informative and narrative. In this sense, endoscopic photodocumentation is similar to photojournalism.
