Synthesis, Characterization, and Properties of Graphene Reinforced Composites—A Review

Being the thinnest two-dimensional atomic material, there are many innovations and advancements related to graphene. The material based on graphene and its composites finds applications in many important fields such as biomedical aids, flexible wearable sensors electronics, actuators, and membranes. Here in this paper, we have discussed the latest processing techniques and their experimental results for graphene-based composite materials. The present article evaluates published results and provides a comprehensive overview of the state of the art. The properties of grapheme-based composite materials are discussed with their applications in various fields like medical, automobile, space, etc. The graphene based nanomaterials are also discussed in this paper. In conclusion, the challenges related to graphene nanocomposites in science and engineering have been discussed.
