A Numerical Investigation on Estimation and Validation of Power Law Constants for TiB2 Reinforced AA2024 Composite Material
摘要
The study utilized a numerical approach to predict the plastic flow behavior of TiB2 (6% weight percentage) reinforced AA2024 composite material. Further, the Power law coefficients have been established for the investigated material. The evaluated power law coefficients have been utilized to predict the tensile behavior through finite element analysis. The maximum stress obtained with FEA investigation and Experimental investigation were 2193.64 and 2192.27 MPa respectively. Better formability has been found in higher n values in comparison to lower n values. The FEA results were validated with the experimental results by less than a 5 percent difference.
