Europe’s Beginnings

  • Thomas Sanford

摘要

The administration of the Romans represented an amalgamation of many polities with their own culture, language and history, including: the Greeks, Phoenicians, Egyptians and Celts. This integration, which formed the beginnings of western Civilization did not last in this form. It started with the progression of cultures in Mesopotamia and Egypt, extended to Greece and Rome and expanded throughout the Mediterranean basin to Europe.
