Ke Xiangfeng and His Study of Poverty

Ke Xiangfeng (1900–1983), also known as Ke Sen, was a sociologist who was a native of Guichi, Anhui. He graduated from the University of Nanking in 1922. Between 1927 and 1930, he was a student at the social studies and economics department of the University of Lyon in France, where he eventually earned his doctorate. In 1930, he went to the University of London to continue his studies in sociology.
