Sun Benwen and His the Principles of Sociology

Sun Benwen (1891–1979) was a Chinese sociologist and scholar of social psychology, a native of Wujiang, Jiangsu. His art name was Shizhe. In 1915, he was admitted to the philosophy department of Peking University thanks to his excellent results. Following his graduation in 1918, Sun worked as a Chinese-language teacher at the Nanjing Higher Normal School for three years.
