Fei Xiaotong’s Path of Sociology

Fei Xiaotong (1910–2005), a well-known sociologist, anthropologist, ethnologist, and social activist, was a native of Wujiang, Jiangsu. He matriculated at Soochow University in 1928, and after two years of pre-medical studies, he decided to switch to the study of the social sciences as a result of the influence of revolutionary ideas at the time.
