Li Jinghan and the Ding County Survey

Li Jinghan (1895–1986), a native of Tong County, Beijing, was a well-known sociologist. He went to the United States for studies in 1917, and there, he majored in sociology and social research methodology. He studied in a number of institutess including Columbia University and a university in California, and eventually earned a master’s degree.
