Interoperability and Portability in Big Data Analysis Based Cloud-Fog-Edge-Dew Computing
摘要
A great deal of interoperability and portability exist in cloud computing, which affects the seamless integration and mobility of systems and services, especially in the field of big data analytics. The effective interaction between diverse clouds working together—referred to as interoperability—holds immense importance in handling and analyzing vast datasets. Similarly, the ease of relocating data or applications across various cloud environments without functional loss, known as portability, plays a pivotal role in enabling efficient big data analysis strategies across platforms. These challenges arise due to various technology coupled, different architecture designs, and the absence of standardized practices within the cloud industry. Addressing these issues is critical for improving the overall quality of cloud services, thereby fortifying the foundation for more robust big data analysis frameworks. In this chapter book, potential solutions are proposed including such as leveraging standard APIs, adopting middleware-based strategies, and developing multi-cloud management platforms.
