The Wonderful Neutrinos

Neutrinos, the mysterious particles with no charge and almost no mass, are almost as ubiquitous as photons. Trillions and quadrillions of them hit us every second and pass through, leaving no signature. Some of them come from the Sun, some are created in the upper atmosphere, and some are remnants of the very early moments ofNeutrino the universe. They show a novel type of wave-like behaviour, a quantum-mechanical oscillation that changes one type of neutrino to another, which kept scientists puzzled for many decades.
