The Sino-American Conflict: From Escalation to Resolution

Both nations should take their relationship risks far more seriously than they are doing so. Just as human pathology tells us that relationship conflicts cannot be resolved with one side imposing its system, its values, on the other, the same is true of nations. In that spirit, this article offers a three-part plan of Sino-American conflict resolution that breaks from the dysfunctional approach of the past.
