Jeans-Based UWB UHF Textile Patch Antenna for IoT Applications
摘要
This paper proposes an ultra-wide band and low-profile Jeans-based textile antenna for RFID applications in the UHF frequency range. It is made up of an extremely low-cost, low-power circular patch antenna printed on a Jeans dielectric and powered by a CPW-fed line to operate at all UHF RFID frequencies. This contribution seeks to monitor RFID tags using practically all UHF frequencies using a single textile reader antenna device. The developed jeans-based antenna system is well-configured and optimized for operation across all RFID UHF bands, as well as strong gains and low-profile antenna features. The findings demonstrate that the suggested contribution achieves peak gains more than 5.25 dBi at all UHF frequencies while maintaining high return loss and good impedance matching. As a result, this basic design incorporates all of the qualities that make it a cost-effective solution for item tracking with only one reader antenna aimed for RFID-based IoT applications.
