摘要

This paper describes the design and optimization of a tiny, ultra-wide, low-profile HPBW patch antenna array for 2450 MHz ISM RFID scanners. It is fed by an integrated feeding mechanism and has an array of 4 × 2 square patches to monitor RFID tags at cheap cost and low power consumption from various angles. Our suggested antenna array is optimized and reduced in size utilizing the Quasi Newton Method to meet our requirements for high return loss (RL) and ultra-wide beamwidth angles at microwave RFID frequencies. The obtained findings demonstrate the low weight, strong impedance matching at 2450 MHz, and very broad HPBW and RL of L greater than 20 dB of the proposed antenna array. Its radiation pattern is unidirectional as well. It is simple to set up and provides a low-profile, cost-effective option for using RFID sensors to enable contemporary IoT solutions.
