A Hybrid Approach for Scalable Load Balancing Using Virtual Machine Migration and Dynamic Resource Allocation
摘要
Achieving optimal resource utilization, scalability, and improved performance in distributed computing environments relies on efficient load balancing. This paper proposes a hybrid approach to scalable load balancing that combines dynamic resource allocation with virtual machine migration. The aim is to balance workloads across multiple hosts, while considering varying resource requirements of individual tasks. A predictive algorithm is used to determine the migration and allocation of virtual machines, considering task priority, current resource utilization, and available resources. Experiments demonstrate that the proposed hybrid approach improves system performance and scalability by effectively balancing workloads and optimizing resource utilization in a dynamic environment.
