Blended Canopy with k-Means Clustering of States Based on Crime Cases Against Children
摘要
Crimes against children under the age of eighteen are heinous acts that violate the moral fabric of society and cause physical, emotional and psychological harm, including abuse, rape, sexual exploitation and trafficking of children, child abandonment, child pornography, begging, etc. Innocent children are vulnerable and need the protection and love of their parents, friends, relatives and the government. Crimes against children data published by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) of India was used to analyze and cluster states based on crime cases against children using the blended canopy with k-means clustering algorithm. The analysis helps to determine optimal group of states and can help governments take extra precautions and develop effective strategic plans to control this type of crimes.
