Deep Learning Method for Plant Disease Recognition and Prediction

Early plants disease recognition plays a vital role in the assurance of quality crop output for the farmers but it often requires the help of professionals which most of the farmers are not able to get therefore due to the lack of recognition and prediction they often are not able to produce a good crop yield output. This paper automated the process of recognition and prediction of diseases in plants. Hence, this paper proposed a deep learning model using CNN which can recognize and predict which plant has been affected by a disease just by the photos of their leaves. This will yield the output over an augmented database of several plant leaves having various diseases. Our proposed model will hence increase the efficiency of the process of plant disease recognition and detection which will automatically increase the output of the crop yields for the farmers. It is highly desired that it will be accessible for farmers across the country on a large scale. This model will be very efficient for the farmers in real-time farming.
