Thermodynamic Assessment of SOFC-HAT-OFC Based Combined Power System

The demand for energy consumption is increasing day by day vigorously that is why efficient sources of power are needed more for sustainable development goals. A solid oxide fuel cell is a solution to this ever-increasing problem because of its higher efficient usage. A humid air turbine is integrated to enhance the resulting parameters. Organic flash cycle is also added after the SOFC-HAT so that there may be minimal wastage of heat. A novel integration of cycle as well as better utilization of waste heat coming from SOFC-HAT is the purpose of the present work. The result reveals that the power output and efficiency of combined system are 1984.47 kW and 71.88%, respectively. The contribution of the OFC cycle in the SOFC-HAT system increases the power output by 9.4% and efficiency by 4.45%.
