摘要

This work shows a research carried out in a Mexican telesecundaria (distance education), with a group of 19 s-year students. Participatory action research is used as a methodological reference, so a detection of student needs was carried out through qualitative and quantitative instruments in the areas of reading, use of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies), and implementation of learning strategies. The above shows the main objectives of integrating the use of said media into the educational dynamics to promote the technological transition in the classroom, as well as promoting the cooperative learning strategy, so that together they achieve a third objective that lies in improving the results of the reading area. The above results leave us with 72.2% of students who do not use Digital Emerging Media in class, a sum of 73.7% of students who do not work with the cooperative learning methodology and less than 50% of correct answers in the group based on the reading test MEJOREDU. Concluding with the need to implement strategies to combine ICT together with Cooperative Learning to improve reading processes.
