摘要

A retrospective review of 149 primary total hip arthroplasties (THAs), performed from 1997 to 2017 over 90 years of age (mean age, 92 years), was reported in 2021 [1]. Mortality rates at 90 days and 1 year after surgery were 6% and 8%, respectively, with 5-year cumulative incidences of any revision and reoperation were 1% and 4%, respectively, and the Harris hip score (HHS) improved significantly. The most frequent postoperative complications were periprosthetic femoral fractures and early postoperative delirium.
