Range of Motion, Walking Function, and Muscle Strength
摘要
Postoperative rehabilitation should be performed with the aim of early release from bed and early return to society. Scientific evidence suggests that pre- and postoperative rehabilitation in total hip arthroplasty (THA) is useful in improving walking ability, muscle strength, range of motion (ROM), and psychological status, such as improved self-efficacy (grade B) [1]. In addition, differences in the effects of improvement in muscle strength, functional score, and muscle volume were observed depending on the program content, such as water training, bicycle ergometer use, and resistance exercise strengthening. However, the medium- to long-term effects over 1 year after surgery are not clear [1].
