Modern surgical treatment often involves minimally invasive techniques and early postoperative recovery. The clinical introduction of robot-assisted surgery, represented by the da Vinci surgical system (Intuitive Surgical, Sunnyvale, CA, USA), continues to progress in a variety of clinical fields. In the realm of orthopedic surgery, new robotic surgical systems have been developed for spine and joint surgery that are expected to improve surgical accuracy, making surgeries safer than ever before.
