Anterolateral OCM Approach

The OCM approach was initiated by Röttinger et al. at the Orthopädische Chirurgie of München University [1], and has been used under various names, including the minimally invasive anterolateral, anterolateral, and modified Watson–Jones approaches. It has the advantage of reducing the risk of dislocation, confirming intraoperative stability moreover easy femoral manipulation. This section introduces the techniques, pitfalls and results.
