Full HA Stem

Full hydroxyapatite (HA) stems have been widely used recently for hip arthroplasty worldwide. CORAIL is one of the most widely used full HA stems because of its excellent long-term results over 25–30 years [1, 2]. Currently, various types of full HA stems are available, including full HA stems with a similar shape based on CORAIL or different concepts based on CORAIL, such as short stems. The currently used full HA stems in Japan and overseas include CORAIL, POLAERSTEM, ACTIS, Avenir Muller, Universia, QUADRA H, twinSys, MetaFix, optimys, AMIStem, HYDRA, H-MAX, Novation Element, Entrada, HIPFORTRESS-ND, Paragon, Alteon HA, and KORUS.
