Although total hip arthroplasty (THA) has developed remarkably in the twentieth century and provided great benefits, complications such as infection, loosening, wear, and dislocation have not yet been completely overcome. Postoperative infection is one of the most stressful complications for surgeons, and the number of revision surgeries owing to periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) has been increasing with the increase in the number of joint arthroplasties in recent years [1]. This problem needs to be solved urgently.
