The Outcome of Social Media User Behavior on Safety and Secrecy Pressures
摘要
The number of people who use online social networks (OSNs) is growing by the day, and at the same rate, threats and assaults against the amount of time spent online have also increased. The aim is to estimate the impact that users’ behaviors on social media have on the degree to which they are exposed to threats to their secrecy and safety. The research was carried out using survey methodologies, which were then administered to users of social media in the nations of Turkey and Iraq. The behaviors of 700 OSN users in two different nations are documented and analyzed. The results of this research show that there is a considerable connection between the behaviors of OSN users and their views toward the protection of their personal information and secrecy.
