Review on Diagnosis of Breast Cancer Using Histopathological Images

摘要

A kind of cancer that affects a disproportionately high number of women in India compared to the rest of the globe is breast cancer. It is not only a problem for women but also for guys. In India, there has been a highly concerning upward trend in the number of people diagnosed with cancer, particularly in metropolitan areas. Breast cancer affects between 25 and 32 out of every 100 people who are diagnosed with cancer. The field of contemporary medical research has developed a variety of innovative approaches, procedures, and methods that can detect breast cancer. One of the developing fields in contemporary medicine is known as digital pathology. The importance of pathological examinations in the early diagnosis of many kinds of cancer has been growing in recent years. The purpose of this review paper is to give a comprehensive analysis and summary of the applicability of digital image processing methods on histopathological images for the purpose of identifying breast cancers as well as a discussion of the possibilities that lie ahead for this field.
